W. H. Wells Dies; Funeral Services Will Be Saturday


Wimbley Henry Wells, 70, of Mill Creek Road, died in the local hospital this morning. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m, tomorrow at Craig's Funeral Home chapel. Burial will be in Pellicer Creek Cemetery.

He was a native of Moultrie and an employee of the Wolfe Ranch on the Mill Creek Road. He was a lifelong resident of St. Johns County, and a member of the Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Daisy Wells, St. Augustine; two daughters, Mrs. Genevieve Davis, Howie-in-the-Hills, Fla., and Mrs. Helen Harvey, Palatka; four sons, R. D., Benjamin E., W .D. and Reginald Wells, all of St. Augustine; half­sisters, Mrs. Victor Orn, Salt Lake City, Utah and Mrs. Ethel Brothers, Amarillo, Tex.; half­brother, Argo Wells, Salt Lake City, and 29 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
