Mrs. Yelvington Dies; Services Will Be Monday

Mrs. Lorena Yelvington, 82, Rt. 1, Elkton, died Friday at Gilmer Nursing Home. She was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Hastings, Chapter 48, Order of Eastern Star, Hastings, and had lived in the Hastings area most of her life.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Mt. Olive Baptist Church. Burial will be in Pellicer Creek Cemetery.

Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Craig Funeral Home.

She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Cecil (Catherine) Cody, St. Augustine, and Mrs. Bourke (Helen) Floyd, Elkton; three sisters, Mrs. Walter Dyess, Elkton: Mrs. Harley Kuter, Atlanta, Ga., and Mrs. Elmo (Edith) Pomar, St. Augustine; one brother, Bryan Young, Elkton, 12 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
