Gumersindo S. Batan

Gumersindo Batan, 91, of Watkins Place, a retired accountant, died Sunday at Florida Hospital-Flagler.

Mr. Batan was born in the Philippines and moved to this area in 1989 from New York City. He was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church and the Knights of Co­lumbus. He enjoyed tennis and golf.

Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Teofila; three sons, Rolando, Largo, and Arlin and Gene, both of Stanford, CT; a daughter, Lila Salgado, Valley Cottage, NY; 14 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Memorial donations may be made to St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 4600 Belle Terre Pkwy, Palm Coast, FL 32137, or to the Knights of Co­lumbus, 51 Old Kings Road, Palm Coast, FL 32137.
