Stella Buick, a 30-year resident of Palm Coast, FL, passed away Sunday, Oct. 17, 2010 in Palm Coast. She was 96.

She was predeceased by her husband, Stanley and her brother, Vincent. She is survived by her children, Geraldine Sholl of Palm Coast, William Buick of Belleville, PA., and Ronald Buick of Elizabeth, PA; as well as three grandchildren, Denise Buick of Key Biscayne, FL, Michelle Brule of Fallsingston Square, PA and Jason Sholl of West Palm Beach, FL; and three great-grandchildren, Estelle Brule, TY Almeeda and Sienna Sholl. Stella Buick was born March 18, 1914 in Pittsburgh, PA, the daughter of Michael and Justine Brazauskas.

She moved to Florida in 1982, following the death of her husband, a businessman involved in the early residential development of Washington, PA. She was devoted to her husband and her children. Born on a farm, throughout her life, she carried a love of nature and the outdoors and enjoyed gardening and yard work. Lively and personable, she loved people and animals, which was reciprocated. Well known in Palm Coast as a top bridge player, Auxiliary Volunteer for 20 years and a supporter of charitable organizations. She was an active member of Mother Seton Catholic Church, where she became a reader and was highly involved in fund raising for the church. A memorial service will be held for the immediate family at Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church Columbarium at 1 pm on Thursday, Oct. 21, 2010.
