John "Jack" C. Cox and Sharon Ann Evrard Cox

John Charles Cox (09/01/1949) and Sharon Ann Evrard Cox (11/24/1946) passed away hand in hand on Sunday, October 10, 2021, after battling COVID 19 together. Jack and Sharon are survived by, sons, E. Brian (Nichole) Cox of Palm Coast, FL and Thad (Rebecca) Keefer of Stockton, NY; grandsons, Caden and Kyler Cox, and Bradyn and Blake Keefer; and their beloved pups Abel and Wicket.

Jack leaves behind siblings Harriet (Andy) Hrezo, of Steubenville, OH, Pat (Bob) White of DeLand, FL, Donna-Marie (William) Kane, of Boonville, IN and Don (Susan) Cox, of Austin, TX.
Jack is preceded in death by his parents, Don and Harriet Cox; sister Maureen Anne Fritton of Chesterfield, VA. Sharon is preceded in death by her parents, Commander William and Mary Francis Evrard of St. Augustine, Fl.

Additionally, Jack and Sharon are survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Jack and Sharon were both employed by St. Johns School District until their retirements in 2016 and 2014 respectively. Jack and Sharon were huge supporters, and active members of their Catholic Church St. Elizabeth Ann Seton. They participated in many ways including being an Usher, Eucharistic Ministry, Lector, Board of Ladies Guild, Christ Renews His Parish and Respect Life, Adoration and SEAS Rosary Maker. Outside the church, Jack was a 3rd degree member of The Knights of Columbus, and Sharon kept busy with her “Shenanigals”. The two had a passion for their family and friends, always putting others’ needs before their own.

Jack and Sharon’s proudest accomplishments were their children and grandchildren. They showed their love and support in many ways over the years, including attending all their grandsons’ sports games. They will both be greatly missed by family, friends, and the communities they supported.

A visitation will be held in the memorial room at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, Palm Coast, Fl, on Saturday, October 23, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be at the Church’s Columbarium Tuesday, October 26th at 10:00 AM.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Flagler County Humane Society.

The family of Mr. & Mrs. Cox has entrusted the arrangements to Clymer Funeral Home & Cremations.
