Daniel G.Daly


Daniel G. "Gerry" Daly, 87, of Beverly Place, who retired as a security broker in 1982 for the Bank of New York, New York City, died Wednesday at Flagler Pines Nursing Home, Bunnell.

Mr. Daly, a Marine Corps vet­eran of World War II, was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., and moved to this area in 1991 from Monroe, N.C. He was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 8696, the Marine Corps League of Palm Coast, and the Knights of Columbus, Monsignor Leo Gildea Council 7845, where he was a 4th degree. He enjoyed playing golf, tele­vision news, and his dog Samson.

Survivors include his wife of 16 years, Sanalyn; a son, Brian, Missoula, Mont.; two daughters, Jeanne Kosartes, Cullowhee, N.C., and Sueanne Martin, Monroe; a sister, Eileen Daly, Melbourne; and a grandchild.
