Edward M. Dugan

Edward M. Dugan, 82, of Braddack Lane, a financial analyst for Pratt and Whitney, died Sunday at home.

Mr. Dugan, an Army Air Corps veteran of World War II, was born in Boston and moved here from Enfield, Conn., in 1998. He was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church and its Men's Club, the Knight of Columbus and the Hump Pilots Association. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Boston College and his master's degree from Western New England College. Mr. Dugan enjoyed crossword puz­zles, woodworking and reading.

Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Elizabeth; two sons, Edward, South Windsor, Conn., and James, Hartford, Conn.; seven daughters, Alice Dugan, Palm Coast, Juliane Dumas, Ashway, R.I., Mary Shearer, Flower Mound, Texas, Louise Bishop, Westerly, R.I., Elizabeth Appleman, West Hartford, Conn., Katherine LaRue, Imperial, Pa., and Grace Pizzuti, Providence, R.I.; three brothers, Charles, Stoughton, Mass., Joseph, Halifax, Mass., and Frank, Huntington Beach, Calif.; a sister, Dorothy Zaniboni, Canton, Mass.; and 13 grandchildren.
