Obituary of Priscilla Ann Emens

Priscilla (Pokey) Ann Emens was born on March 30, 1948 in Cincinnati, Ohio to Francis and Kathryn Stefanak. She was born into eternal life on August 13, 2019 and reunited with her husband Peter and her brother Andy.

She grew up in the Chicago area and then settled in Alexandria Virginia where she met and married Pete Emens, the love of her life. They enjoyed many years together in Northern Virginia and West River, Maryland. Upon retirement, they embarked on the adventure of their lives – living on a boat and traveling up and down the east coast. They finally settled in Palm Coast, Florida where they enjoyed making many new friends.

Pokey was blessed with a large and loving family. She loved and was devoted to her nieces and nephews – Mike, Judy, Jim, Carole, Charlotte, Damien, Melissa, Brad, Andy John, Mark, Emily, and Luke. Her medical conditions never held her back from helping others. Through it all, she remained a Beacon of Positivity.

She leaves behind her beloved doxie “boyz” Red and Blackie who brought her such great joy. She will be sorely missed by her adoring sisters Suzanne, Kathy and Cindy, as well as Patsy, Dottie and numerous family members and friends. She was a life long and faithful Catholic.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton School or a charity of your choice.

There will be a visitation with Rosary at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton in Palm Coast Florida at 10:00 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 11:00.

Internment will be at a later date at the church’s columbarium.
