Benito Gonza1ez, 76, of Foster Lane, a former employee for the Mount Sinai Hospital, New York City, died Tuesday at Halifax Medical Center, Daytona Beach.
Mr. Gonzalez, an Army veteran of the Korean War, was born in Puerto Rico and moved to this area in 1992 from New York City. He was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church and the Spanish American Club. He enjoyed playing guitar and singing.
Survivors include his wife of 20 years, Luz; three sons, Davis; Palm Coast, Gabriel, New York, and Benito Jr., New Jersey; a daughter, Marjorie Rodreguez, New York; a brother, Ramon, and· two sisters, Encarnocion and, Jinoveva, all of Puerto Rico; and three grandchildren.
Memorial donations may be made to St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 4600 Belle Terre Parkway, Palm Coast, FL 32137.
