George G. Goudie

George G. Goudie passed away peacefully in his sleep at home with his family by his side on Wednesday, November 5, 2008. He was born in New York, NY on May 8, 1925.

A World War II Navy veteran, George served on the USS New Jersey in the Philippines. He lived in Stony Brook, New York for most of his life. After a 35-year career with Stone and Webster Engineering, he retired to Palm Coast where he lived for the past 20 years. George was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend. He took great joy and pride in his family and they were truly center of his life. He will be missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Betty and their four children, James and his wife, Fran of Demarest, NJ; daughters, Judi and her husband, James Duquette of Newburgh, NY; Virginia and her husband, Robert Farrell of Palm Coast; Elizabeth and her husband, Thomas Gresosky of Orlando; 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

A Funeral Mass celebrating his life will be held on Monday, November 10, 2008, 10:30AM at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 4600 Belle Terre Parkway, Palm Coast. Friends may visit on Sunday from 2:00-4:00 PM at the church.
