Helen Hoffman


Helen Hoffman passed away peacefully in her sleep, July 13, 2009. She was born in Brooklyn, New York on January 1, 1932.

Helen is survived by her loving husband, Thomas, after almost 50 years. They had three children, Kevin, Prospect, KY, Frances, and Catherine, both of Fairfield, OH. There also are four grandchildren, Matthew, Kinsey, Avery and Griffith; and a sister, Kathryn Van Stry, East Northport, New York.

Prior to becoming a mother Helen worked for the Chief Comptroller of CBS for 8 years. Helen was a lifelong Catholic and a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton R. C. Church. She was also active in the Elks Ladies Auxiliary of Palm Coast.

A Mass celebrating her life will be offered at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church on Thursday, July 16, 2009 at 10:30 a.m., followed by interment at the Columbarium next to the church.

Condolences may be offered at the church between 9:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. No flowers; please send donations in her name to the Florida Elks Youth Camp, P.O. Box 49, Umitilla, FL 32784-0049.
