Rosita E. Hogarth

Rosita E. Hogarth formerly of Palm Coast, Florida passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 8, 2021 at the age of 87.  Rosita was born on June 16, 1933 in Watt Town, St. Ann, Jamaica, West Indies.

Soft spoken … sweet … nurturing … generous …  are words often used to describe “Rose” as she was called by her family and close friends.  She was the oldest of five children to Doris Wishart and was dedicated to the banking industry where she worked her entire professional career in both Jamaica and finally retiring in New Jersey.  Rose was devoted to her husband, Lance who pre-deceased her and together they loved to travel all over the world which gave her the opportunity to pursue her hobby collection of small bells.  Rose’s devotion to her family was legendary – she was the comforter, business manager, problem solver and her generosity was always extended.  She was a proud graduate of St. Monica’s High School in Kingston, Jamaica where all her younger siblings attended

She is survived by her sister, Joyce Ou Hingwan and husband, Gibert; her brother, Sylvester Leung and his wife, Aida; her sister, Pamela Lue Pann and husband, Donald and brother, Geoge Leung and wife, Theresa and 12 grandnieces and nephew and many great grand nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00am, Friday, June 25 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 4300 Belle Terre Parkway, Palm Coast, Florida 32137.  Reverend Father Jose will officiate.  Visitation will begin at 10:00 am in the Knights of Columbus room prior to the Mass.  Interment will follow in the Columbarium Garden at St, Elizabeth Ann Seton.  Arrangements are under the direction and care of Lohman Funeral Home Palm Coast, 220 Palm Coast Highway SW, Palm Coast, Florida.  Call 386-449-1100.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent in Rosita Hogarth’s name to Cornerstone Hospice Foundation, 2445 Lane Park Road, Tavares, Florida 32778.

Rest In Peace dear Rose.
