Meyer Hospice House, Palm Coast, Florida. George was born on December 5, 1930 in Ann Arbor, Michigan to George and Dorothy (Dunn) Kielwasser.

A Christian Mass and burial with military honors will be celebrated on Saturday, March 8th at 1:00 p.m. at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church. Visiting with family and friends from 12:30-1:00 pm.

George received his Master's degree in education from Michigan State University and went on to become a much loved high school teacher and coach until his retirement in 1996. He was a dedicated parishioner at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, a member of the American Legion, AARP, and the Michigan State Alumni Assoc. George enjoyed playing tennis, golf, traveling, and corresponding with friends, children and grandchildren on his computer. He was an avid reader, and an accomplished poet.

George is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Karen L. Kielwasser, Palm Coast; three sons: David (Alice) Kielwasser, Ypsilanti, Michigan, R. Mark (Whitney) Kielwasser, Dallas, Texas, and Paul (Annie) Kielwasser, Monroe, Louisiana; by two daughters, Bonnie R. Kielwasser, Hills-borough, North Carolina, and Kiersten K. (Danny) Withrow, Orefield, Pennsylvania; as well as eleven grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers Donations may be made in George's Memory to Stuart F. Meyer Hospice House or St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic School Scholarship Fund-Attention Lorraine.
