Mass of Christian burial celebrating the life of Jose A. Motos, Sr., 79, of Palm Coast, who passed away on Friday, December 8, 2017, will be held on Saturday, December 16, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. at Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church.

His family will be receiving guests on Friday, December 15, 2017 from 1:00 p.m. till 7:00 p.m. at Clymer Funeral Home and Cremations, and again on Saturday, December 16, 2017 from 9:30 a.m. till 10:30 a.m. in the memorial room of Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church. Inurnment will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 16, 2017, at the Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church Columbarium.

Jose was born in the Philippines on September 19, 1938, the 8th of 9 children. He received his Engineering degree from Mapua Institute, and an MBA from Northern Illinois University. Jose was an accomplished Chemical Engineer and business owner.

He moved to Palm Coast in 2010 from Belvidere, Illinois. Jose was a devout Catholic, a member of the Knights of Columbus, 4th degree, and an active member of the BNP. Jose loved to read, sing, and play golf.

Jose is survived by his loving wife of 53 years Luz Reyes of Palm Coast; sons, Jose Jr. and his wife Eileen Martin of Belvidere, IL, Mark and his wife Jaime Edwards of Belvidere, IL, James and his wife Nicky De Mari of Rockford IL, Richard and his wife Sabrina White of Visalia, CA; grandchildren, Damon, Jackson, Gabriel, Jose Hunter, Faith, Elijah, Hayden, Josephine, Brooklyn and Josleen.

The family of Mr. Motos entrusted the arrangements to Clymer Funeral Home & Cremations.
