Paul A. Stella, 76 of Palm Coast passed away peacefully July 24, 2023 at his residence. He was a loving husband, father and friend to many.
He was born December 14, 1946 in Philadelphia, PA., a son of Paul and Rita Perry Stella.
Paul and his wife moved from Philadelphia to Florida in 1987. He was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, where he served as a Eucharistic Minister, CCD teacher, and worked with the Catholic Youth Organization. Paul worked with the special needs children with the Special Olympics and “Camp I am Special” in Jacksonville. Paul proudly served our country as a Corporal in the United States Army, where he received the National Defense Service Medal and the Good Conduct Medal. He has honorably discharged on August 23, 1968.
He is survived by his wife and best friend of 54 years, Mary Ann Stella. His children, Angela (Jeff) Froschauer, Anthony (Lindsay) Stella, and Adrienne (Anthony) DeCamillo. Three grandchildren, Megan Froschauer, Catherine Stella, and Mia Stella. Three grand puppies, Riley, Mavis and Stella. His sister Dorothy Colletta and a brother James Stella. He also is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will be received from 10:00-10:30am August 5, 2023, at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, where a Memorial Mass will be held at 10:30am. Inurnment will take place at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Paul’s name to AdventHealth Hospice Care-Flagler County or to St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church Outreach Ministry.
