William (Bill) Thomas

Born and raised in New York City, Bill graduated from Xavier High School and New York University. He served in the Army from 1951 to 1953.

Bill was a Eucharistic Minister and Lector in his former parish, Our Lady of Sorrows, Garfield NJ. In Palm Coast he was an active parishioner at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church as a Eucharistic Minister to the homebound, and with his wife, Grace, a participant in the Adoration Ministry.

Bill is survived by his wife of 46 years, Grace S. Thomas (nee: DeLorenzo); his sisters Patricia St. Clair and Grace C. Thomas of Palm Coast; and his brothers John Rowan of Palm Coast and James Rowan of Westfield, NJ. He had many nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews.

Visitation will be in the Memorial Room at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Palm Coast, on Tuesday January 17 at 9:30 AM. A Funeral Mass will be held at 11 AM followed by inurnment at the Columbarium.
