Michael John Torell

The family will be receiving guests from 12:00P.M. until 1:00 P.M. in the memorial room at the church. Following the Mass of Christian Burial, Michael will be inurned in the columbarium at the church.

Michael was born in Catskill, NY and moved to this area in 1983 from Setauket, NY. He served his country in the United States Navy and before retiring he worked as a flight engineer. Michael was a member of Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, the Elks Club, NRA, the Civil Aeronautics Patrol, and former member of the Italian American club.

He also held a private piolets license and was a flight instructor as well as an A & E mechanic. He was also a gun instructor and a real estate broker. Michael enjoyed golf, tennis, and computers. Michael received his Bachelor's degree from Stony Brook University on Long Island.

Michael is survived by his wife of 62 years Margaret, his son Michael Torell and his wife Catherine from Huntington, NY. and was predeceased by his son Bruce Torell.

The family of Mr. Torell entrusted the arrangements to Clymer Funeral Home & Cremations.
