Mrs. J. P. Allen, born Braddock, daughter of J. S. Braddock.

She was born September 3, 1871, Nassau County, Fla. and died January 27, 1916 at Macclenny, Fla. and was buried Seville Cemetery.

When the deceased was 10 years old, she moved with her parents to Ga. at age 22, she married J P Allen. They moved to Seville five years ago from Kingsland, Ga. and after two years here, moved to Macclenny. Remains were brought to Seville with services held at the Baptist Church with the Rev. K. D. Jones of the Methodist Church officiating, interment in the village cemetery.

The deceased left her husband, 6 children, widowed mother, several brothers and sisters.
