DELAND - Mrs. Elizabeth L. Cade, 84, a resident of Seville for 48 years, died at 12:40 p.m. yesterday in Fish Memorial Hospital.

Born in Shiloh, S.C., she moved to Volusia County 70 years ago. She was a member of the Seville Methodist Church.

Survivors include her husband, James, two sons, Fred and Vernon, all of Seville; two daughters, Mrs. Mattie Dressner, Providence, R.I.; Almeda Beck, Seville; two brothers, E. P. and J. D. Frierson, both of DeLand, and 10 grandchildren.

Mrs. Elizabeth L. Cade, 84, a pioneer West Volusia resident died at 12:40 yesterday at Fish Memorial Hospital, DeLand.

Born March 29, 1871 in Shiloh, S.C., Mrs. Cade came to West Volusia in 1895. She and her husband were married at Pierson Methodist Church on February 16, 1898. They had resided at Seville for the past 48 years.

Surviving are her husband James E. Cade, Seville; two sons, Fred and Vernon of Seville; two daughters, Mrs. Almeda Beck, Seville; and Mrs. Mattie Dressner, Providence, R. Is.; two brothers, E. P. Frierson and J. D. Frierson, DeLand; and 10 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. tomorrow at Seville Methodist Church with Rev. J. L. Pennington officiating. Burial will be at Seville Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Woodie Coleman, Don Marshall, Alvis Raulerson, Howard Mayfield, C. A. Byrd, and W. R. Ruth.
