JAMES E. CADE DIES AT 92
SEVILLE - James E. Cade, 92, pioneer of Volusia County and a former state legislator, died Wednesday in West Volusia Memorial Hospital.
He was born in Marion, Ky., and had lived the past 59 years of his life in Seville.
He had served two terms in the State Legislature and was a former member of the Volusia County School Board. He also served for 19 years as Peace Justice in Seville. He was retired from the citrus and fern growing business. He was a member of Trinity Methodist Church in Seville and a life member of the Barberville Masonic lodge.
Survivors include two sons, Fred D. and George Y., both of Seville; two daughters - Mrs. Almeda Beck, Seville; and Mrs. Mattie Dressner, Providence, R. I.; one brother, J. C. Cade, Pierson; two sisters - Mrs. Mary Baker, Pierson; and Mrs. Sally Clarkson, Lake Helen, 10 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
