SEVILLE - Stanley Cowart, 57, of McGlon Road, died Aug. 16, 2004, at his fernery on State Road 11 in DeLeon Springs.

Mr. Cowart was the owner and operator of Stanley Cowart Farms & Foliage Co. He was a lifetime resident of his birthplace of Seville.

He was a member of First Baptist Church of Seville, the Haw Creek Hunting Club, the Central Florida Co-op, and the Central Florida Fox Hunters Association, and an honorary member of the Taylor High School FFA.

Mr. Cowart is survived by his mother, Alma Clifton of DeLeon Springs; three sons, Travis of Seville, Jay of DeLand, and Shane of Palm Bay; two brothers, Gary and O.W., both of Seville; one stepbrother, Max Clifton of San Antonio; three sisters, Gail Rogers of Orange City, Suzanne Anderson of Pierson, and Pat Ward of Emporia; one granddaughter, Tiffany Cowart; and many nieces and nephews.

Allen-Summerhill was in charge.
