Oliver (Gary) Cowart
SEVILLE - Oliver (Gary) Cowart, 79, of Seville, Florida passed on December 12th, 2021. He was born in Seville on July 20th, 1942 and graduated from Taylor High School in 1960.
He pursued a career in construction and retired after many years. He loved hunting, fishing, and raising farm animals, especially his hogs that he fed coffee to every morning.
His most thorough enjoyment came from watching his granddaughters, Kaylee and Brittany, playing softball and volleyball.
He was married to his widow, Rebecca Cowart, for 49 years and lived in their Seville home his whole life.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Oliver and Alma Cowart, a brother, Stanley Cowart, and a son, Duane Cowart.
He is survived by his sons, Tom (Allison) and Chad Cowart, as well as his sisters, Gail, Pat, and Suzanne, and his brother, O.W. Cowart. He was also survived by his three granddaughters and two grandsons.
A viewing will be held at First Baptist Church of Seville at 10am Friday, December 17th. Funeral services will follow at 11am with burial at Seville Cemetery.
