EAST PALATKA - Ruby Martin Davis, 70, of East Palatka, a volunteer for several years at Browning-Pearce Elementary School, died Thursday at Putnam Community Medical Center.

Mrs. Davis, a homemaker, was a native of' Seville, and moved to Putnam County in 1953. She attended Open Bible Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband of 51 years, Walter; a son, Mitch, East Palatka; two daughters, Margaret Davis, British Columbia, and Debbie Davis; Tallahassee; a brother, Bobby Martin, Gulfport, Miss.; and a grandchild.

John Overturf Funeral Home, Palatka, is in charge.
