W. Ed Deen, formerly of Bunnell, but lately of Trenton, Florida, died suddenly Sunday morning at his home there, it was learned Wednesday. Mr. Deen was 42 years of age.

The dead man was well known to great many residents of this county, having moved to Espanola from Appling County, Georgia, about 25 years ago. Shortly after coming here he was married to Miss Frankie Pittman, also of Georgia, and who survives him. The couple then moved to Bunnell and later going from here to Seville and then to Trenton. Mr. Deen was engaged in the logging business for many years.

Mr. Deen is survived by his widow, three daughters, Mrs. Cullen Flowers of Sanford; Misses Helen and Virginia Deen of Trenton; his mother, Mrs. J. M. Deen of Seville; one brother, Emmett Deen of Seville and nine sisters living in different parts of the states of Florida and Georgia. Also a large number of relatives, a good many of whom are residents of this county.

Funeral services were held at the Baptist church at Seville Monday afternoon and the body was buried in the family plot at that place.
