Mrs. A. V. Earnist, 79, died at her home in Seville Thursday night after a lingering illness. Funeral services will be held at the Seville Methodist Church at 3:30 p.m. Sunday with Rev. I. S. Murphy  of DeLand officiating.

Mrs. Earnist's former home was in Washington, D.C, but she had been a resident of Seville for more than a decade. She is survived by her husband.
