Gamble, 90, passed away in the Halifax Health - Hospice in Deltona Sunday afternoon, October 23rd after an extended illness. Mr. Gamble was born in Baxley, Georgia and he owned and operated Gamble's Garage in Seville for over fifty years.

He served his country as a SeaBee with the US Navy and he enjoyed dirt track and drag racing. He attended the First Baptist Church in Seville.

He is survived by his sons, Johnnie (Patsy) Gamble of Deland; Greg (Raye) Gamble of Seville; daughter, Barbara (JT) Peacock of Seville; a sister, Iris Lucille Welch of DeLeon Springs and a brother, Lamar (Marsha) Gamble of Madison, Mississippi; seven grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren and five great, great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary of 47 years and four brothers.

The family will welcome guests at the funeral home for visitation from 6:00 - 8 :00 PM Wednesday, October 26th at the funeral home. Funeral service will be 11:00 AM Thursday, October 27th at the First Baptist Church in Seville with Pastor Wesley Price officiating. Burial will follow in Seville Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made in his memory at Halifax Health-Hospice, 1625 Veteran's Memorial Highway, Orange City, Florida 32763.
