Judge Arthur Edward Gordon, 78, Seville, died at 7:45 p.m. yesterday in the Bunnell Hospital.
Judge Gordon was born in Detroit, Mich., August 17, 1879. He was a retired Detroit Circuit Court judge, past potentate of the Detroit Shrine Temple and a life member of the Detroit F. & A.M.
He is survived by his wife Ethel of Seville.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday in the Clayton-Frank and Sons Chapel, Crescent City, with the Rev. F. C. Smelt and the Rev. Ted Pennington of the Methodist Church officiating.
Lake Lodge No. 72 of Crescent City will hold Masonic services at the grave.
Burial will be in the Seville Cemetery.
The Crescent City Rotary Club will act as honorary pallbearers.
Active pallbearers will be C. C. Christilles, LeGrange Byrd, John Beck, Henry Johnson, Woody Coleman and C. A. Byrd.
