MR. GRAHAM, SEVILLE, PASSES AWAY AT 71
Mr. Jefferson Davis Graham, of Seville, age 71, passed away at 11:15 p.m., May 23rd after a very long illness.
He is survived by his widow, Lavine Graham, three daughters, Mrs. Lela Maryes, Bellglade, Fla.; Mrs. Lula Pittman, Seville, Fla.; and Mrs. Kitty Orell, Philadelphia, Pa.; five sons, W. D. Graham, J. H. Graham and A. Z. Graham of Seville; E. P Graham, Lois S. C. and S. C. Graham, of Sanford, Fla. Besides the family, there are many friends that mourn his passing.
The funeral services were conducted at the residence west of Seville at 3 o’clock Wednesday, May the 25th, Rev. Mr. Miller, of the Baptist church of Seville officiating. Internment was at Seville Cemetery where Rev. Neel offered the benediction.
The pallbearers were E. M. Robinson, W. D. Raulerson, R. D. Raulerson, T. A. Baker, and Charles Causey of Seville and Dr. S. S. Henson of Crescent City.
Mr. Graham has been a resident of Seville for the past twenty-five years, coming here from Lois, S. S. where he was a prominent merchant. He was an active member of the W. O. W. No 282 of Seville until his illness.
There were many beautiful floral offerings from his many friends.
Funeral arrangements were in charge of the Crescent City Funeral Home.

Aged Resident of Seville Laid to Rest
Jefferson Davis Graham, who was born near Lorris South Carolina April 29, 1861, grew up in an industrious southern home with his parents, one brother and one sister, died this week; the sister, Mrs. S. J. Horn of Nichols. S.C. is the only surviving member.
Besides farming and stock raising, Graham followed up the running of cotton gins and corn mills and turpentining, this last industry inducing him to Florida locating at Dunellen for a year then to Seville in 1908 where he started on a small scale at trucking, farming and principally the growing of citrus. To know Mr. Graham's standing during the past few years, with the acres of groves and other property, proves a success can be made in Florida.
Being the father of 10 children, 8 surviving their father; all married and received encouragement financially by their parents in starting their homes. There were 7 boys and 3 girls.
Sincere sympathy of all who knew the family is extended to Mrs. Graham, mother of the two younger boys, Schley and Alexy; to W. D. Graham of Seville, E. P. Graham of Lorris, S. C.; J.H. Graham, Seville; Mrs. Lela Mayers of Okeechobee; Mrs. Lula Pittman, Seville; and Mrs. Kittie Orrell of Philadelphia; l3 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
250 people gathered at the Seville home to show their appreciation of a reserved, real honest citizen who respected the rights of everyone and attended strictly to his own business. Floral offerings were many and beautiful. At Mr. Graham's request only a short service was held at the home and at the local cemetery.
Frank’s Undertaker of Crescent City in charge and pallbearers were Messrs. Robert and Wm. Raulerson, Tom Baker, E. M. Robinson, George Causey and H. H Henson.
With E. P. Graham were his daughter, Mrs. M. H. Gerrald and Mr. Gerrald and 2 children of Mullins, S. C.
