Mary Thelma Harris, 98, died Thursday, Oct. 17, 1996, following a long illness.

Born in St. Johns Park, she had lived in the Crescent City area since 1943, coming from Seville.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Sampson Harris, son, Walter Harris, and daughter, Ruth Compton.

Graveside services were 2 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 20, at Clayton Frank and Sons Funeral Home.
