Dorothy "Dottie" Lambing Haynes, 74, of Seville, passed away on March 28, 2011 in DeLand. She was born on February 15, 1937 in Indiana County, Pennsylvania and returned back to Seville upon retirement from Orlando in 1999.

Dottie worked in the accounting department at Sprint Tele-communications. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Seville, where she was a Lay Leader, and Past President of the United Methodist Women; she was also active with the church mission trips to Haiti. Dottie was also a member of the Pierson Garden club and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

Survivors includes Robert "Bobby" Haynes and Russell Haynes of Seville; daughter, Deborah Haynes Guess of Jacksonville; brothers, G. Russ Lambing of Redmond, Washington and Oran D. Lambing of Ventura, California; sister, Patty Prada of Rockledge; seven grandchildren, Justin Haynes, Holly Haynes Shelton, Mandy Guess Ruddock, Cody Haynes, Lindsey Haynes, Lauren Mew, and Soloman Mew; two great-grandchildren, Brittany Shelton and J. R. Shelton.

She was predeceased by her daughter, Elizabeth Haynes Mew and sister, Elaine Lambing Reep.

The family will receive friends on Friday, April 1st, from 6-9pm at Allen-Summerhill Funeral Home in DeLand.

The funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 2nd, at 10am at Trinity United Methodist Church in Seville. Interment will follow at Seville Cemetery.
