On Tuesday morning May 25, 1897 f J. Thomas Jackson died. He was the idol of an affectionate father, the love and comfort of three sisters. His mother died 7 years ago.

He is in the 20th year of his age. He had been ill for two weeks with typhus malaria fever. The young man was a member of the Baptist Church at his former home, Ceres, Georgia.
