HOLLY HILL – Frances Langford, 73, of Orange Avenue, a resident since 1947, died Thursday at home.
Mrs. Langford was born in West Palm Beach and came here from Newberry. She was a member of the Indigo Baptist Church and the Forget Me Not Garden Club. She was a volunteer for Meals on Wheels and enjoyed fishing, sewing, cooking and traveling.
Survivors include two sons, Bruce, Miami, and Tim, Holly Hill; two brothers, Malcolm Owens, Cleveland, Tenn., and Lawton Owens, Cleveland, Miss.; and four grandchildren.
Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Volusia/Flagler 3800 Woodbriar Trail, Port Orange 32119 or to one’s favorite charity.

LANGFORD, FRANCES – Memorial service for Frances Langford, 73, Orange Avenue, Holly Hill, who died Thursday at her home will be at 12 noon Tuesday at Indigo Lakes Baptist Church, 950 Williamson Blvd., Daytona Beach, with the Rev. Hal Marchman officiating.
Friends may call and pay their respects Tuesday from 10 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. at the Dale Woodward Funeral Home, 167 Ridgewood Ave., Holly Hill.
Mrs. Langford was born in West Palm Beach and had been a resident of this area since 1947 coming from Seville. She was a homemaker and a member of the Indigo Baptist Church and the Forget Me Not Garden Club. She was a volunteer for Meals on Wheels and enjoyed fishing, sewing, cooking and traveling. She was a loving grandmother.
Survivors include two sons, Bruce, Miami, and Tim, Holly Hill; two foster children, Mary Heath and Paula Bundy; two daughters-in-law, Kathleen Langford and Jeanine Langford; two brothers, Malcolm Owens, Cleveland, Tenn., and Lawton Owens, Cleveland, Miss.; and four granddaughters, Tiffany, Lisa and Lauren, all of Miami, and Tara, Holly Hill.
