AUDREY LAWSON

Deland - Audrey M. Lawson, 71, of East Carolina Avenue, a Telephone Operator for Southern Bell be­fore her retirement, died Tuesday at a local care center. 

Mrs. Lawson was born in Acme, La., and crone here in 1952 from Pineville. La. She was a member of the First Baptist Church and assisted in the Boston Ave­nue School lunchroom.

Survivors include two daughters, Irma Harding, Altamonte Springs and Reba Nickola, Nashville, Tenn.; four sisters, Juanita Witt, Palatka, Margie Roberts, Newllano, La., and Gladys Mills, Pineville, La., and Wanda Holland, Columbus, Ohio: and three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

LAWSON, AUDREY M. - Funeral service for Audrey M. Lawson, 71, E. Carolina Avenue, DeLand, who died on Tuesday, Dec. 23, 1997, will be on Saturday, Dec. 27, 1997 at the Lankford Chapel of Memories, DeLand at 9 a.m. with the Pastor Robert White officiating. Viewing will be on Friday, Dec. 26, 1997 from 5 until 7 p.m. Burial will be at the Seville Cemetery, Seville. FL Born in Acme, La. and moved to this area in 1952 from Pineville, law Mrs. Lawson was a re­tired telephone operator for Southern Bell. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in DeLand and assisted in the Boston Avenue School lunchroom in DeLand. Survivors include two daughters, Irma Har­ding of Altamonte Springs, Fl., Reba Nicko­la of Nashville, Tenn.; four Sisters, Juanita Witt of Palatka, Fl., Margie Roberts of Nella­no, La., Gladys Mills of Pineville, La.; Wan­da Holland of Columbus, Ohio; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Mrs. Lawson retired as a telephone operator for Southern Bell Born in Acme, La, she moved to this area in 1952 from Pineville, La.

She was a member of First Baptist Church of DeLand. She assisted in the lunchroom at Boston Avenue School in DeLand.

Mrs. Lawson is survived by two daughters, Irma Harding of Altamonte Springs and Reba Nickola of Nashville, Tenn.; four sisters, Juanita Witt of Palatka, Margie Roberts of Newllano, La., Gladys Mills of Pineville and Wanda Holland of Columbus, Ohio; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
