SEVILLE - Otis Maryes, 74, of Lakeview Drive, a cattle rancher and fern grower, died Monday at Memorial Hospital, Ormond Beach. Mr. Maryes was born in Cowart, S.C., and was a lifetime resident of this area.

Survivors include three sons Davis, Crescent City, Otis, Bunnell: and John, Ormond Beach; a brother, Albert, St. Augustine;  a sister, Mary Belle Young, Rebecca, Ga.; six grand­children; and two great-grandchildren.

Allen-Summerhill, DeLand, is in charge.
 

MAAYES, OTIS JAMES – Graveside service for Otis James Maryes, 74, Seville, who died Monday, December 25, 1995, will be 10 a.m. Friday, December 29, at Seville Cemetery with the Rev. Howard Cox officiating. Calling hours will be from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. Thursday at Allen-Summerhill Funeral Home.

Mr. Maryes was born in Cowart, S.C. and was a lifetime resident of northwest Volusia County. He was a cattle rancher and fern grower.

Survivors include three sons, Davis Otis Maryes, Crescent City, Otis Davis Maryes, Bunnell, and John Graham Maryes, O­mond Beach; brother, Albert Maryes, St. Augustine; sister, Mary Belle Young, Rebecca, Ga.; six granddaughters; and two great-granddaughters.

Allen-Summerhill Funeral Home, Deland, is in charge of arrangements.
