Mr. Charles H. Mask passed away Wednesday afternoon after a week's illness. Mr. Mask was a highly respected citizen having lived here 39 years, coming from Sumter County, Americus, Georgia and was a staunch member of the Baptist church.

He was 69 years old and leaves a wife, a son, Mr. Clyde Mask, and 2 daughters: Mrs. O. W. Cowart and Mrs. Irene Herring, and 11 grandchildren.

Funeral service was held at the Baptist Church Thursday, Rev. I. S. Murphy of Sanford conducting the services.

Pallbearers were Henry Johnson, A. E. Owens, S. E. Bolin, and E. C. Byrd.
