Funeral services for Thomas Clyde Mask, age 67, were held at the Methodist Church Sunday afternoon at 2 p.m. Rev. Herman Murdock, pastor, officiating, assisted by Rev. N. L. Modling, pastor of the Baptist Church. The Baptist Choir rendered special hymns.

Mr. Mask passed away at his home on Friday morning, December 16, 1949, after a lingering illness. Born in Americus, Ga. June 19, 1882, he came to Seville at age of two with his parents where he has since lived.

Mr. Mask, besides being a citrus grower was employed at the local school for a large number of years until failing health compelled him to resign. He was loved and respected by all the children as well as the community as a whole.

Pallbearers were C. H. Cowart, Oliver Cowart, Frank Turner, Lester Stone, Sr., Philip Capron, and Henry Johnson.

Clayton Frank and Sons Funeral Home of Crescent City are in charge of arrangements. Interment was at Seville Cemetery.

Mr. Mask is survived by his widow, Mrs. Claudie Mask, one daugh­ter, Mrs. Mildred Robinson; two sisters, Mrs. O. W. Cowart of Seville and Mrs. Irene Herring of Miami; two grandchildren, James and Mildred Ann Robinson.
