Monday, December 27, 1982Mrs. Ethel Baker Mayfield, 73, of Crescent City, died Saturday morning in a Gainesville hospital after a long illness.
Mrs. Mayfield was born in the community of Hammond located between Seville and Crescent City and lived in Volusia and Putnam counties all her life. She was a former resident of both Seville and Pierson.
Survivors are a daughter, Mary Swanson of Crescent City; two sisters, Victoria Hendrickson of Jacksonville and Marie Waters of Seville; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
The Clayton Frank & Sons Funeral Home of Crescent City is in charge of arrangements.
