Funeral services were held today at 4 p.m. at the Baptist Church in Seville for Adam Courtland Mercer, Jr. (1896-1957), 61, who died in a Tampa hospital.

Clayton Frank & Son Funeral Home of Crescent City was in charge.

He is survived by his wife Pearl Clifton Wilson Mercer; two sons, Adam C. Jr., Seville, and Jacob Courtland, of Crescent City; two daughters, Mrs. Lois Clifton Mercer Holder, Plant City, and Mrs. Lois Clifton Mercer Ellis, Lake Wales; his mother, Mrs. Missouri Holder, Seville; and nine grandchildren.
