DELEON SPRINGS – Marceile H. Miles, 74, of U.S. Highway 11, the co-owner and operator of West Volusia Ice and Storage, Pierson, died Sunday at home.

Mrs. Miles was born in Seville and was a lifelong resident of this area. She was a graduate of Seville High School.

Survivors include a niece, Christine Kirby, DeLeon Springs, who provided for her care.

Allen-Summerhill, DeLand, is in charge.

 

MILES, MARCEUKE H. – Funeral service for Marceile H. Miles, 74, U.S. Hwy 11 DeLeon Springs, who died Sunday January 28 at her residence, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, January 31 at the Allen-Summerhill Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Eric McCrea officiating.

The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. today (Tuesday) at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Seville Cemetery.

Mrs. Miles was born in Seville and was a lifetime resident of this area. She was a former member of the Pierson Lions Club. She was a graduate of Seville High School. Mrs. Miles and her husband  owned and operated the West Volusia Ice and Storage in Pierson.

Pallbearers will be Don Schaefer, Jimmy Cade, Forest Cade, Pasco Cade, Johnny Cade, Dale Blackman and Mike Wells.

Survivors include her niece Christine Kirby, DeLeon Springs who provided her care; nephews, Hugh Byrd, Pomona Park, Julian Byrd, Houston, Texas, and Bob Raulerson, Hiawassee, Ga.

Allen-Summerhill Funeral Home, DeLand, is in charge of arrangements.
