Vera Miles, 98, Seville, a former fruit packer for McBride Packing Co., died Wednesday.

Vera Annie Miles, died Wednesday, March 13 at the age of 98. She was a native and lifetime resident of Seville. She was very proud of her Seville heritage. She was born, raised her children and lived her life on Lake Juanita; an area settled by her great grandfather during the 1870s.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Seville where she volunteered in the nursery for over 40 years.

She was preceded in death by her husband William and son Sammy.

She is survived by three sons, William, Warren and Ralph (Linda) all of Seville; ten grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.

The visitation will be Saturday, March 24 at 10:00 a.m. and funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church of Seville followed by the Interment at the Seville Cemetery.
