MONROE NEWMAN
PORT SAINT JOHN – Monroe “Clint” Newman, 53, of Port Saint John, a native of Seville, died Sunday at home.
Mr. Newman, an Air Force veteran retiring as a senior master sergeant after 24 years of service, moved to Brevard County in 1990 from Charleston, S.C. He a1so was a retired electrical engineer for Boeing.
Survivors include his wife, Wanda; two sons, Stanley and Paul, both of Port Saint John; a daughter, La Tina, Titusville; a brother, Robert, and two sisters, Mary Hayes and Betty Smith, all of Seville; and a grandchild.
North Brevard Funeral Home, Titusville, is in charge.
NEWMAN, MONROE “CLINT” – Funeral service for Monroe “Clint” Newman, 53, Port St. John, a retired electrical engineer, who died Sunday, Jan. 17, 1999, at his residence, will be a 1 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 1999, at Anchor Baptist Church Seville. Burial will be in the Seville Cemetery, Seville. Calling hours will be from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. today (Monday) and with a prayer service at 7 p.m. at North Brevard Funeral Home, Titusville.
Mr. Newman was born in Seville, and came to Brevard County in 1990 from Charleston, S.C. He was as an electrical engineer for Boeing for eight and one-half years. He was a member of the Anchor Baptist Church, and the U.S. Air Force for 24 years as a senior master sergeant.
He is survived by his wife, Wanda Newman, Port St. John; son Stanley Dean Newman, Port St. John; daughter La Tina Dee Newman, Titusville; son, Paul Aaron Newman, Port St. John; brother, Robert Thomas Newman, Seville; sisters, Mary Louise Hayes and Betty Lou Smith, both of Seville; and one granddaughter.
