OWENS RITES AT SEVILLE FRIDAY

Seville – Funeral services for Mrs. Gus Owens were held in the community cemetery, Friday at 3:30 p.m.

Mrs. Owen was born in Seville in 1892 and spent her girlhood days here later moving to Quitman, Ga. and to Jacksonville, Fla. At the time of her death, she was residing in West Palm Beach.

She was a member of the Community Christian Church at West Palm Beach and very active in Christian work.

Mrs. Owens was confined to the hospital in West Palm Beach for three weeks before her death. The cause of the death was infermenta purpora, reported by physicians to be one of the most puzzling cases they had ever experienced.

Surviving her are her husband, Gus Owen, mother and father, Mr. and Mrs. I. H. Moody of Hastings, two sisters: Mrs. S. F. Raulerson of Crescent City and Mrs. J. H. Strickland of Tampa, also two brothers, Charlie Moody of Hastings and Isaac Moody of Palatka.
