Edward Peterson, 81, Seville; died suddenly Friday. He was the father of Mrs. Victor Cowart, Bunnell, and had been visiting with them recently.

Funeral services were held at First Baptist Church in Seville, Sunday afternoon, with Dr. Lafayette Walker, Stetson University, and Rev. Don Foster, Bunnell, officiating. Interment was in Seville Cemetery.

He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Victor Cowart, Bunnell; two sons, Ed Willis Peterson, Lake Mary and. Paul Peterson, Sanford; and eight grandchildren.

Edward D. Peterson, 81, of Seville, died Friday at Putnam Memorial Hospital, Palatka.

He had lived in Seville since 1923, and was a native of Branford. He was retired.

Mr. Peterson belonged to the First Baptist Church of Seville, and was a veteran of World War I.

Peterson is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Edna Cowart of Bunnell; two sons, Paul Peterson of Sanford and Ed Peterson of Lake Mary; two brothers, Robert Peterson of Palm Harbor, and Macon Peterson of Branford; two sisters, Mrs. Florrie Fletcher of Branford, and Mrs. Florence Meyer of Jacksonville; and eight grandchildren.

Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. today in the Seville Baptist Church, Dr. O. Lafayette Walker of DeLand and the Rev. Donald Foster of Bunnell will officiate.

Burial will be in the Seville Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Ellis Guess, J. W. Ward, Lamar Wilson, Lester Stone, Jr., Everard Jones and M. C. Coleman.
