Leslie "Les" B. Pigue Jr., 54, died at his home Wednesday morning following a long illness.

A native of Crescent City, he made the Crescent City area his home most of his life. He was active as a fishing guide and in the fish bait business. He also ran a fern route. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Seville.

He is survived by his wife, Sue Pigue of Crescent City; three sons, Robin M. Smith, Bobby H. Smith and Leslie Blaine Pigue, all of Crescent City; a daughter, Dori "Dinky" McPherson of Seagrove, N.C.; two sisters, Elain Dorsey of Corona, Calif., Darlene Tooker of Wadley, Ala.; five grandchildren.

The funeral is 2 p.m. Saturday at Clayton Frank and Sons Funeral Home in Crescent City. The Rev. Shane Gaster, pastor of First Baptist Church in Seville, will officiate. Burial will be in Seville Cemetery.
