PREVATT, GEORGE M. - Funeral service for George M Prevatt, 87, who died peacefully Monday, Dec, 22, 2003, at Memorial Hospital in Jacksonville, will be 11 a.m. Monday, Dec, 29, at Anchor Baptist Church, Seville. Burial will follow at Seville Cemetery The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. Saturday, Dec, 27, at Arlington Park Funeral Home, 6920 Lone Star Road.

Mr. Prevatt was born Nov, 27, 1916, in Seville and had lived in Jacksonville since 1943, He retired from AM­TRAC Railroad as a conductor in December 1979. He was a Mason, a Morocco Shriner and an active member of the Elks Club.

Survivors include his loving wife of 69 years, Emma W. Prevatt; two sons, Harry W, (Pat) Prevatt, Waycross, Ga. and Larry O., (Cheryl) Prevatt, Jacksonville; six grandchildren, Debra, David, Susan, Lorri, Jodie and Todd; 10 great-grandchildren; and two great­great-grandchildren; and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
