SEVILLE - John Fredrick Prevatt, 42, of Lake Juanita Road, a fern farmer, died Tuesday at home.

Mr. Prevatt, a Navy veteran, was born in Bunnell, and was a lifetime resident of the area. He was a fan of Elvis Presley, the Miami Dolphins and the Atlanta Braves.

Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Wanell and Leonard Alt, DeLand; two brothers, George Jr., Seville, and Albert, DeLand; a stepbrother, Jeff Alt, Miami; and four sisters, Mary and Sandra Prevatt, both of Seville, Teresa Prevatt, Lake Mary, and Diane Prevatt, San Mateo.

Clayton Frank & Sons, Crescent City, is in charge.
