PREVATT – Mrs. Stella Morrison Prevatt, 87, of 101 E. 9th St., passed away Thursday in a local hospital. She had resided in Jacksonville since 1942.

Survivors include a son George M. Prevatt Jacksonville; a brother, E. L. Morrison, of Erving, Tex.; 7 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday in the Seville Methodist Church, in Seville, Fla. Interment will be in Seville Cemetery.

Mrs. Stella Prevatt of Jacksonville died Tuesday. She and her husband, Orrel, lived in Seville where he was postmaster for many years. After the children grew up they moved to Jacksonville in the 1940s. She was 87.

The funeral was at the Trinity United Methodist Church in Seville Saturday afternoon with the pastor of Main Street Baptist Church in Jacksonville in charge of the service.

Some of the family here for the funeral were her son, George, and his wife, Emma, with their sons, Larry and Harry, and their families from Jacksonville and Waycross and a grandson, Ronnie Prevatt of Norfolk, Va. Others close to the family were Everett Robinson, Harry Bhernes and Maxine Pratter of Jacksonville and Janet Langford of Daytona Beach.

Their friends remember them as good friends to all.
