MARY LEE PREVATTE, 69, died Thursday, January 26th from injuries she received in an automobile accident on SR 40. Mary was born in Palatka and lived most of her life in Seville where she attended elementary school.
She graduated from Taylor High School in Pierson. Later she moved to Atlanta but returned to Seville in 1977 where she became a fern grower and also a breeder and trainer of horses. She was a former member of the Soil and Water Conservation of Volusia County, Village Improvement Association of Seville and a member of the First Baptist Church in Seville.
She is survived by her mother, Wannell Alt of Deland; sons, Lyman Keele of Orlando and Joseph Prevatte of Seville; a brother, George Lee Prevatt of Seville; Sisters, Teresa Prevatt of Lake Mary, Sandra Lee Prevatt of Deland, Diane Prevatt of Satsuma and Connie Flores Prevatt of Seville.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, February 6th at Seville Cemetery with Pastor Larry Price officiating.
