Leamon William Raulerson, 93, died at his home on Lake Crescent, on Saturday, May 19, 2001.
A 4th generation Floridian and descendant of pioneering families in Volusia and Flagler counties, he was preceded in death by his parents, Stephen and Clara Virginia Moody Raulerson, and four of his five siblings.

Mr. Raulerson grew up in Seville, attended the University of Florida. He lived in Jacksonville from 1930 to 1948, when he returned to Crescent City to start a dairy business with his brother.

Subsequently, he worked for Stalnaker Chevrolet and Joe Pickens Oil Company. He was the past District Deputy Grand Master, a Shriner, and he belonged to the York and Scottish rites.

He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Sadie Richardson Raulerson; daughter and son-in-law, Patricia and William Maden of Ormond Beach; grandchildren, Stephen William Maden of Sitka, Alaska, Carter Lee Maden, Orcas Island, Washington, Sarah Maden of Olympia, Washington; brother, Alvis Raulerson of DeLand.

Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Thursday, May 24, 2001, at Howe Memorial United Methodist Church in Crescent City with graveside services afterward at Seville Baptist Cemetery.
