Sadie Ruth Richardson Raulerson, 91, of Crescent City, died July 2, 2004 at Lakewood Nursing Center surrounded by love after a short illness.
A descendant of pioneering Flagler and Volusia county families, she lived most of her life in this area, except from 1931-1947, when she and her husband, Leamon, worked for Greyhound in Jacksonville. Until 1979, she worked for Peoples Bank/Barnett/Sun Trust in Crescent City. She was best known for her musical talent on the organ and piano, and was organist at Howe Memorial United Methodist Church for 38 years, as well as pianist for the Order of the Eastern Star.
Sadie and Leamon were married 70 years, and worked together on their beloved home and orange grove for 45 years, until Leamon's death in 2001.
She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law: Patricia and William Maden of Crescent City; grandchildren: Stephen Maden of LaCross, Wis.; Carter Maden of Bellingham, Wash.; and Sarah Maden of Garberville, Calif.

Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, July 9 at Howe Memorial United Methodist Church in Crescent City with reception to follow at Lakewood Nursing Center.
